Tommy Richman’s runaway hit, “Million Dollar Baby,” is spending its seventh straight week at No. 1 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart. That marks the longest consecutive reign atop the TikTok Top 50 chart since the chart’s formation back in September of 2023. Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” breaks the previous record of six consecutive weeks at No. 1 that was previously held by Mitski’s viral hit, “My Love Mine All Mine.”
The TikTok Billboard Top 50 ranks the most popular songs on TikTok in the United States based on creations, video views and user engagement over a given week. Musical activity and engagement on TikTok is not included on any other Billboard charts except for the TikTok Billboard Top 50. The success of “Million Dollar Baby” owes a lot to its spread on TikTok, with the track first being teased in a snippet on TikTok that immediately went viral, garnering 13 million total global views on the original clip to date.
