Madonna is facing a federal class action lawsuit in Washington D.C. over her late concert starts, with fans accusing her of disrespect and false advertising. The lawsuit, filed by three fans, claims that she took the stage two hours late at two December shows. They argue that waiting in uncomfortable conditions shows “arrogant and total disrespect for her fans.” This case follows a similar lawsuit in New York claiming fans had to miss work the next day due to the late start. The D.C. lawsuit aims to represent all fans who experienced similar issues. In addition to late starts, the lawsuit alleges that Madonna lip-synced at the D.C. shows, which contradicted expectations of a live performance. Madonna and Live Nation have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
