Joey Fatone Will Sing Backstreet Boys And NSYNC Songs During Broadway’s ‘& Juliet’

Joey Fatone has joined the cast of the Broadway jukebox musical, & Juliet. This production will mark the boy band star’s return to Broadway for the first time in two decades. The musical reimagines Shakespeare’s legendary tale of star-crossed lovers, Romeo & Juliet, while setting it to the songs of celebrated Swedish producer Max Martin. The musical includes renditions of chart-topping pop megahits “It’s Gonna Be Me,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” and “As Long As You Love Me,” so Fatone will be singing songs by his own boy band, NSYNC, and their one-time rival group, Backstreet Boys. “I’m excited that I’ll be joining the cast of & Juliet!,” Fatone said. “I can’t wait to get out there and sing Max Martin’s amazing songs — his hits have shaped so much of pop music. And yes, I know I’ll even be singing a couple of Backstreet Boys songs. Even though my loyalty remains with NSYNC, they still have bangers.” (Variety)
