Louis Tomlinson has opened up about the persistent rumors suggesting he and fellow One Direction member Harry Styles were in a romantic relationship during their time together as a band, admitting the speculation irritates him. In an interview with Brazilian news outlet G1, Tomlinson said, “It does irritate me a little bit, you know? But it is just kind of [the] nature of the job, I suppose,” he told Brazilian news outlet G1. “There are times where it gets a little bit… at times it gets far too personal within that whole space.” While Tomlinson has previously denied the rumors, they continue to persist among a group of obsessive One Direction fans. “There is nothing I can do to dispel the believers of that conspiracy,” he added. “They are so intertwined with what they believe to be the truth now that they won’t actually see the truth for what it is.” Tomlinson also shared that he treasures the time he spent working with Styles and the other band members and would be open to a reunion in the future.
