Katy Perry's Detox Regimen Includes 'A Lot Of Enemas'; Performs Live Debut Of 'Never Really Over' In A Bathroom

Katy Perry’s restorative health plan is largely enema-based, she tells Australian program Smallzy’s Surgery.

While appearing on the podcast, Katy was asked about a previous comment she made about her plans to detox. Her answer:

"I’m kind of into those type of things, like health and healing places and self-betterment places. Especially as you get older and you have longer hangovers, you realize, ‘Oh, the cells in my body are dying!’ So I did this thing called Panca Karma...it’s basically Ayurvedic eating and cleansing; you do lots of, uh, enemas."

Asked if doing that made her feel better, she replied:

"You definitely feel more energy, it basically like gets all the crap out of you, every pun intended. There are ancient ways to heal yourself besides just taking a pill, which is something I always love to investigate."

Katy then explained that her fiancé Orlando Bloom is also "very all about that kind of new age way of living." And she says it isn’t all heath food:

"For instance, today, we’re actually on a little bit of a health kick because we ate so many croissants when we were on vacation. So today, I’m eating fruit and apple cider vinegar and later I may have a vegan meal later. And then probably tomorrow, I’ll have an In-N-Out burger."

But, Katy said, despite her health kick, she does allow herself to indulge in when she’s on vacation:

"If you’re gonna go to Italy, have some pasta! If you’re gonna go to France, have a croissant! Put some butter on it, and put those delicious strawberry jams that they make on your freakin’ croissant and shove it in your mouth!"

Meanwhile, for her first performance of her comeback single, "Never Really Over," Perry decided to perform the song in a bathroom alongside her band and backup singer.

"🎤POTTY JAMS🎤🚽: Never Really Over My bands always down for the weirdest sh*t, pun intended 🤷🏼‍♀️," Katy captioned the video.

Ariana Grande's Grammy Award Finally Delivered To Her

Five months after the Grammy Awards, Ariana Grande, who skipped out on the ceremony, took to Instagram Tuesday to show off her new trophy.

"really glad i checked the mail," she wrote.

Grande won Best Pop Vocal Album for her 2018 record Sweetener back in February, but passed on attending the awards ceremony after clashing with Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich.

Pushing back against Ehrlich’s claim that the singer "felt it was too late for her to pull something together" for the show, Grande tweeted the producer had kept her from performing the songs she wanted to sing.

Although Grande joked she received the award via snail mail, her manager Scooter Braun wrote on Instagram he delivered it himself, posting a photo with Grande and the trophy.

"This right here is family," he wrote. "I couldn’t have been prouder this week to deliver this one her very first Grammy."
