Nicki Minaj And Safaree Engage In Heated Twitter Feud

Things got pretty heated on social media between Nicki Minaj and her ex, Safaree Samuels on Tuesday (August 14th). It all started when Nicki did a radio interview and discussed her tumultuous relationship with Safaree, along with claims that he wrote her raps. Nicki denied the allegations, saying, "They respect my pen, you know? And it’s so f**ked up that everybody on the inside of the industry knows that I write my lyrics and knows that I put so much weight on women writing. And then for one person to do something like this to me out of sheer weakness and passive aggression and just hatefulness and vindictiveness, because you got caught sh*ttin’ on a person that was taking care of you for years and years… Because you got caught sh*ttin’ on a person who was taking care of you while you were paying for prostitutes and stealing their credit cards and doing all types of dumba** sh*t." She added, "Him, his mother and his sister called me a lazy b*tch because I was pursing my rap career."

Safaree caught wind of Nicki’s comments, which went viral, shortly after and took to Twitter to address them. He wrote, "Unless I really cared still I could not let the mention of someone's name get me that riled up. That looks like some1 who either stlll cares or just holding on to a lot of hate towards someone. How many times have I said I never wrote ur raps? Nobody even talks about that anymore. You hold on to everything. your problem with Dj self is because me and him are so cool and nothing else. You have a problem with mona Scott because she put me on the show. let all that ish go. And now I stole your card? The 1 you gave me he pin for and had me doing ish with? We know each other inside out. Everything there was for us. I didn't use your card for prostitutes. We both didn't trust each other. You did sh*t I did sh*t. You said you were messing with meek a few years b4 y'all got together and I'm not mad at that. Towards the end it got toxic and I just packed up and left. I did things for spite and so did you. I don't wish you bad and I don't want us back together just like I'm sure you don't. I don't need you you don't need me but we will always be linked in the public no matter what."

Adele Shares Story Of Best Friend, Who Was Diagnosed With Postpartum Psychosis

Adele took to social media Monday to raise awareness for a postpartum issue not many people talk about.

She posted the story of her best friend, Laura Dockrill, who went through a harrowing battle with postpartum psychosis after the birth of her son – Adele’s godson – six months ago.

"This is my best friend. We have been best friends for more of our lives than we haven’t," Adele wrote on Instagram and Twitter. "She had my beautiful godson 6 months ago and it was the biggest challenge of her life in more ways than one."

Adele continued, "She has written the most intimate, witty, heartbreaking and articulate piece about her experience of becoming a new mum and being diagnosed with postpartum psychosis. Mamas, talk about how you’re feeling, because in some cases it could save yours or someone else’s life x."

In her story, Dockrill writes that her doctor believes the traumatic birth could be what triggered the illness, which left her with an "overwhelming sense of fear and dread" and at times made her feel suicidal.

With the help of her family, a psychiatrist and medication, Dockrill is now recovering.

"You don’t have to brave it alone," she reminds moms who may be going through the same thing. "You don’t have to act like a hero, you already are one."

Dockrill wrote about her experience for the British parenting blog Mother of All Lists. In the piece, she details her traumatic birth experience and the confusion that followed.
